Swimming pools are subject to strict regulations under Dutch law (Omgevingswet / Bal15). Exceeding limits for substances such as chlorate, bromate, trihalomethanes (THMs), chloramines and bicarbonate can lead to health risks, legal issues and reputational damage. Operators often struggle with fluctuating water chemistry, especially when disinfectants react with organic matter. This leads to the formation of harmful by-products. Conservative solutions rely on either ready-made sodium hypochlorite which deteriorates quickly and loses effectiveness during storage. Our Chlorinsitu®-V system can generate ultra-pure chlorine via membrane electrolysis, delivering chlorate- and chloride-free disinfection with unmatched precision. Combined with automated pH correction and CL2 dosing, we offer secure minimal chemical storage and low energy consumption, ideal for both compact and large-capacity pools.

Our membrane electrolysis systems are designed for maximum efficiency. Unlike conventional membrane electrolysis, our technology produces ultra-pure chlorine on-site with minimal energy input.

This high electrolysis effectiveness not only reduces operational costs but also potentially lowers the need for refreshing pool water. By maintaining stable water quality and minimizing the formation of unwanted by-products, our systems help pool operators stay well within legal limits, while consuming less energy and conserving water. By dividing the product stream through high-performance membrane cloths, we isolate the active chlorine from impurities at molecular level. This results in an exceptionally pure disinfectant, perfectly suited for sensitive applications such as wellness centers and low-chlorate swimming pools.

By adding an open cell unit for peak hours, we accommodate our customers with their variable capacity challenges.
